The S.E.T.-EndoStepper® can be progressively expanded
and improved via the serial port of your PC, keeping your
machine at the cutting edge and supporting the newest
instruments. Ongoing software updates will allow you to
extend the use of the EndoStepper beyond endodontics.
The next market release will be a caries programme for
"pain, noise and vibration-free drilling". It
will allow the user to remove caries, working at steady
speeds between 300 and 1000 rpm with a "pressure
free drill" which operates until it hits sound dental
mass and then stops. This programme will mark a decisive
expansion in the scope of the device.

To update the software on your EndoStepper you will need
our kit containing cable, adaptor and instruction book.

To order updates you will need the following information:
S.E.T. EndoStepper®
The serial number which is situated on the white label
on the base plate, underneath the barcode.
VDW EndoStepper®
The serial number and version number for the system.
To obtain this information switch the machine on and
as soon as the serial number appears on the screen (see
picture to left) press the function keys F2 and F6
simultaneously.
The version number appears in the fourth line of the
following screen after Ges. Sys. (see picture to right).
